HOW DO I WORK?
First of all, it is effective, and I always choose the way that will fit individual group's needs.
Usually, I spend a lot of time preparing for cooperation, bearing in mind the goals of the team, as well as the current skills. I often ask for films from performances or the so-called skill tape in order to prepare for the classes as well as possible, to spot mistakes immediately, and also to be able to indicate the strengths of the team to emphasize them even more.
Why am I doing this? Because I respect your time. I just want the class or training to be as effective as possible. I am not into cooperation that brings nothing to the client.
The process of working on the image of the team is exactly the same. We discuss target groups and emotions to be evoked by the team. We often engage graphic specialists or webmasters. Where my competences end, I call on the best "reinforcements" to cooperate. All this to achieve the intended goals.
During the judging, I care primarily about the athletes and their scores. I work on comments all the time, so that they meet all the requirements and are a large dose of information for the teams. In fact, it is one of the refereeing functions - educating the coaches and athletes, indicating why they got this number of points. Personally, I treat judging as an opportunity to influence the development of the discipline. This is not only marking numbers. On the contrary. You won't meet me at the banquets preceding the competitions. I want to get a good night's sleep to bring a high level of concentration throughout the tournament. The athletes are the most important. This is cheerleading.
